Just a 10-minute walk to Wainui beach, the house is equipped with solar and wetback water heating, as well as unlimited fast broadband.
The house includes 4 cozy bedrooms; a large car park outside for up to 6 car; a sleep out with a office space and a king size bed; a fully equipped kitchen; a dinning room with a large table for 12 people, a versatile workshop/lounge space for up to 20 people.
A sanctuary in nature. A space for people to restore, go slow and create the shared space they long for.
This Video is a tour when we opened the new kitchen dining space in 2022. At that time we called the house, the pirate house.
It has now claimed its name of M’Ocean Song. Mountain & Ocean Song
A Portal for you to open: Bridging Worlds.
Are you feeling the call to create, heal, and live in day to day connection with others? Do you dream of a space where transformation happens in living together and community thrives?
I'm listening to the insistent whisper of my heart, and it's urging me to open my home in Golden Bay's New Zealand Tui Community and for me to leave and make space for others to live here.
This isn't just a house; it's a vessel, a "spaceship for transformation," designed to hold the energy of growth and multigenerational connection. I envision it as a "bridge house," a sanctuary where individuals and families can come together to explore new ways of being, to heal, and to birth their creative visions and be on each others team in connection with Nature.
My heart tells me to act now, to extend this invitation to you and see who resonates and takes a leap.
Here's the Invitation / offer / possibility
I'm offering my spacious home M’Ocean Song in Tui Community, available from June 1st (potentially earlier), for a period of 4-6 months, or even a year or two. This is an opportunity to:
Explore community Living: Immerse yourself in the constant moving energy of Tui Community, an intentional community with a rich history of shared values and collaboration.
Create and Heal: Utilize the expansive space, including a training room (capacity 20), 4 bedrooms, and a 2-room sleepout (all comfortably accommodating 8+ people), for your personal projects and healing practices. Either sharing it as Mothers, Families and any way of living together as a small group.
Be the Spaceholder: I'm seeking a dedicated individual to be the spaceholder, a bridge between M’Ocean Song and the community.
This person will:Be the main point of communication.
Communicate and negotiate with Tui Community members.
You will be able to invite others to join you, to share the rent with and coordinate visitors.
Let's have a conversation to discuss rental details, Tui Community life, and how to co-create.
The rent for the whole space will range between NZD $350–$450 per week, depending on the number of people and whether the Sleepout is used. The main spaceholder is responsible for ensuring the rent is covered and has the option to share the cost with others.
All agreements will be made in negotiation with the Tui Codex. A stay of up to four months is possible at the Tui community without needing to become a resident. During those 4 months, being at Tui you would be contributing 3.5 hours of energy per week to the community.
